UGH-1st tri & teaching

This time around has been worst than the first.  Add to that I've gone back to work and have an 18 month old at home.  Tonight, after coming home to sleep because last night was hell-I get an email from my principal.  He noticed while walking through my room yesterday that it was a bit messy.  Yeah-I can barely keep my head out of the trash can and teach to get through the days.  I do admit it is a bit messy, but when is there time to clean.

I should never have gone back to work!  This is the class from hell and it is so difficult.

Thanks for letting me vent!  I hope the "all day sickness" goes soon!

Re: UGH-1st tri & teaching

  • Oh, you poor thing!! There would seriously be a revolt at my school if my principal tried to tell someone that their room was too messy! That sucks. Hope you are feeling better soon - the 1st tri is rough even without teaching on top of it + a toddler!!

  • I totally feel you.  It IS hard.  I hope you start feeling better soon.  See if your OB will give you some zofran.  That literally saved me.
  • I was really sick, too, and I'm a teacher...it is really hard to be "on" and keep the kids entertained all day when you feel like crap.  My doctor said I could take Unisom Sleep Tabs (not the gels) at night and it really helped me feel much better during the day.  You should ask about it.
