Cloth Diapering

Kawaii quality long-term

How do Kawaiis hold up over time? We have one Kawaii and it's my favorite so far. I'm looking at these to possibly make up the majority of my stash:

The price is very appealing, but I want to invest something that will last through at least one baby. Do you find that these hold up pretty well?

I used kawaii for daycare diapers for my son. I really liked them until the elastics died on everyone of them after between 11 14 months of use. I guess given the price that isn't bad but considering they had never seen a dryer I was disappointed.

  • Similarly to theresa, most of my Kawaii have been great. They are my primary diaper and going strong after about 2 years of use. Some of the aplix needed replacing at about a year. I did have one "batch" that delaminated - 3 out of 4 of the covers I got on one co-op order didn't last. Meanwhile, the other 25 I have are doing great.
