So after a few weeks of testing my blood sugars, the endo decided I have to go on insulin. Not a huge surprise - my fasting sugars are insane. (120? How does that happen?) But what WAS a surprise is she put me on insulin after every meal. We tried diet and exercise and for the first week or so everything was great, but after the last two weeks - everyday my sugars crept up. I guess diet and exercise are just not my management style.
A plus side though - with all the diet and exercise changes, I have only gained a half pound since the beginning of April. (But the bump, it continues to grow )
So now I test my sugar 5 times a day, and give myself 4 insulin injections. I am feeling rather whole-y!
Re: So insulin - I am sorry we have to meet this way
Thanks! I can do anything for two months right?
