Poop in the Tub

How do you go about cleaning poop out of the tub? Blech! I got as much as I could out with t.p., then rinsed the tub, and filled it with hot water and bleach. I also threw all the tub toys in the bleach water. Now it's soaking. If I drain it all in the morning and clean it like normal, will that be enough to disinfect it? (Now if I could just figure out how to disinfect DS when he does that.)

Yes, that's pretty much what I did. Rinse, rinse, rinse the bath toys after, thoughwq.aw

Oh gosh I just grabbed the log and called it good. Hmm...I did clean the tub with vinegar and dawn though. We can't use bleach on our tub.

LO is still EBF so I just drained the tub, rinsed her off with a pitcher of tap water, and rinsed out the tub. I think what you did is the best you could do.

I wish it had stayed a "log." DH didn't hear me screaming for help, so by the time I could get DS dressed, fed, and put to bed, it had softened quite a bit.

Sounds like a good cleaning routine. I don't like using bleach, personally, but I'm sure the germs are gone
