Baby Names

I'm trying to be fair...

So I have a 9 year old son named Zachary. His middle name starts with a "J"  Ever since he was born I swore on my life if I had another baby it would start with the letter "Z" and middle name would start with "J" also.

My boyfriend is not his bio father and agreed with the "Z and J" even though he is not thrilled about it. Since he is giving a little, I thought I would give a little with his choices in the names.

He likes Zoey for a girl. Personally, I think it's too cutesey and over used.

We both like these middle names. Votes please!!!

Zoey Juliette

Zoey Jane

Zoey Jude

  • I'll vote for Zoe Juliet, but I think the matchy initials are kind of ridic.

  • Not ridiculous just something I;ve had my heart set on for personal reasons. Yes, I agree with PP...dropping the Y does make it look better

I know it's not the point of your post but this really bugs me.  You are both having a child together and he shouldn't be forced to follow a name trend that he doesn't like.  If you really want to be fair, as the title of your post says, you should both come up with a name you both love, regardless of the initials.

Zoe Jude is my favorite.  Drop the 'y'.

He doesn't feel forced and it doesn't bother him. I just said he isn't thrilled about it. He really likes Zoey/Zoe, and is totally happy with that.

  • Ok people, Me and my boyfriend have agreed on ZJ. He is happy with our choices and so am I so far. I am asking on a vote of the 3. Not to be drilled about what yall think of the initials.
  • I like Zoey Jane.

  • Forget it yall. I am getting drilled for no reason. I simply said he isn't THRILLED ABOUT the initials. As in he didn't jump for joy. My god, he is a passive person anyways. I wont even read the rest of the replies. I am not going to stress over a site that is suppose to be for support, not bashing.

    I knew a girl named Zeandra (zee-ANN-dra).

There is also Zada and Zahara

I would be worried that the next boyfriend who knocks you up wont agree to the J/Z thing. What will you do then??!!!

Not really getting the reason behind limiting a name to a sibs initials but.....

Zoe Jane      I like Zoe without the Y
