Going on vacation

We are going to be on vacation for a week.  We are taking the kids with us.  Do you think I should take a bottle and my pump, just in case?  We won't have anyone there to watch the kids, and it is unlikely I would take off alone.  It feels weird not to have them.

I think of a vacation with the baby as a vacation from the pump!  Enjoy the time nursing your LO and forget about the pump.

I always take my manual pump just in case DS goes on a nursing strike.  He's done that to me a couple times when we've gone out of town, when the trip coincides with new teeth coming in and being in an unfamiliar place, and I was always so glad I had my backup, just to take off the engorgement.

i guess it depends on your situation, but i tend to think its good to have the pump there, just in case. if you don't use it, no big deal but if for some reason you need it - you'll be glad you had it!
