Last weekend, I was really stressed out because I had to go to two weddings. To top it off, DH was a groomsman in one and the photographer in the other and I had to do the wedding cake!  It ended up being much less stressful and more fun than I had thought.  I've also gone out with my girlfriends a couple of times this week and I went to see a movie yesterday!  It's been a really nice change of pace to get out of the house so much.  In fact, it's inspired me to look for a part time job.  I'm excited about it.

Last night DH and I were watching a movie while DS played, and a very twangy Western song with yodeling came on. DS stopped what he was doing, stood up on the floor between us, and started dancing in time to the music. It was hilarious!

Ha! That's awesome. I've noticed DS totally starts bopping whenever music comes on.  I can't wait to see what he does when he can stand up on his own.

If last weekend counts, the best thing that happened to me was seeing my mom.  I miss her so much, especially now that I have a baby.  Otherwise it's been a pretty rotten week.  I have decided though, that even the worst day in my new job is better than my best day in my old job.  So that's encouraging.

It's a small thing, but A started talking in a growly voice. It's amazing, and probably the funniest thing I've ever seen.

The best thing is DH is done with school for the summer!! It's awesome to have more time with him.

We also finally built all the guest bedroom furniture. There's still some odds an ins to finish, but our house looks like a house! It's awesome. We also got all the boxes out for recycling to pick up and I vacuumed up the little bits of trash that were lingering. DH is good with picking up big things, I clean the floors after him.

Our house is clean and comfy for the time being!

I found out yesterday that I qualify for an interview for a physical therapy residency that I REALLY want!  We're in the process of planning a move from North Carolina to Wisconsin this summer, and having this nailed down would make things so much easier...
