S/O Laughter

How often do your LOs laugh?  DD like... never laughs.  She has had 2 extended laughing sessions... for lack of a better phrase.  She has let out giggles maybe 4 times.  She just gives huge smiles and not usually noise.... Should I be concerned?

I have to say that B is a big laugher. He lets out huge squeels of laughter to the point that he gives himself hiccups. But I am also a big laugher so he comes by it naturally.

I personally dont think you have anything to worry about since you know that she can laugh, she just chooses not to!

She does squeal a lot... so I guess that's good

Well hell yea it counts!! Maybe thats her version of laughter or appreciation. Every picture you post, i always think how happy she looks!

Don't worry about laughs... I've got a friend whose LO1 laughed at 6 weeks, and LO2 laughed at a year. She'll hand out those laughs when she's good and ready.

Alice squeals and has big open mouth full face grins more than laughs. Usually the laughs come when she is slaphappy exhausted. Then everything is hysterical. ;]
