If this LO is a girl, I am contemplating a Mary double first name. It would honor my grandma (whose mn was Mary) and DH's grandma (who had a Mary double first name).

My daughter is Mary Jane... and we love it! We named her after my late MIL... and I was unsure about it. In fact I tried to talk my husband into Mary Claire, Mary Kate, and Meredith Jane or Maren Jane. But he insisted... and now I love it! Lots of positive feedback.
I absolutely adore Mary double names. My two favorites are probably Mary Eleanor ( called Mary Nell) and Mary Winslow. Both are family names for us.

I really like Mary Kate, although it reminds me of the olsen twins, and right now I'm leery about any "royal" names. I have a huge suspicion kate/Katherine/Elizabeth/pippa are all going to be HUGE trend names, plus we have yet to know what the royal baby's name is going to be, but I bet it trends too.
