I am looking for something new to stuff my pockets with (I hate touching the MF).
Ideally, I'd like something at least as absorbant as the MF inserts I have but less bulky. Would the bamboo prefolds do this or should I consider something else?

I have the Imagine bamboo prefolds. Tri-folded they are a bit bulkier than a MF insert, but WAY more absorbent. I'm assuming the Grovia prefolds are similar.
If you want something less bulky than MF, I think I'd try a bamboo insert like the AppleCheeks 2-ply, which you can fold in half to get 4 layers to stuff in a med or large rise pocket or tri-fold to get 6 layers in a small rise pocket.
I love my Grovia bamboo cotton prefolds!! They are so soft and more trim than just cotton prefolds. I would get the infant size for stuffing pockets and I highly recommend them bc they are super absorbant!
