little white bump on tongue

My LO is almost 12 weeks. He has what we call "lie bump" on the tip of his tongue. It's a little white bump at the tip of his tongue. Its presence causes him to press his tongue against his lips a lot. I remember getting these little bumps every now and then but I'm used to them going away in a matter of days. He has had his for a couple of weeks. 

Has anybody's LO ever had this? If so, did it linger?

Nope. It's just one white bump at the tip. It just won't go away.
