I really like a name suggested on my previous thread: Bridget.
Trouble is, it's my brother's wife's name. Her's is spelled Brigid (German spelling) but it's the same name.
It would be weird to name my kid Bridget, right?
Also, Bridget and Barrett?? probably also not good, right?

Could you use it as a mn? I love the name, and the SIl issue wouldn't bother me much, but I really don't like it with Barrett- way too matchy.

Eh, my aunt, grandmother, and I all had the same name. It was never much of an issue. If she's OK with it and the relationship is good, I think it's fine.
Two B names isn't unheard of.
