This is my final week in 2nd Tri, so I'm very excited about that! Tomorrow is my 1-hr. glucose test. Last time I barely missed the cut-off and had to sit through the 3 hr. test, only to pass that one. This time I played with my diet a week before, so we'll see if that helps.
In other news, I head out of town this Friday to a luxurious all-inclusive resort/spa for 5 days, where I'm scheduled for 3 massages and a mani-pedi, while DH stays home with DD (he's in grad school and has an internship, so there's no way he could go, even if he wanted to). I'm looking forward to entering 3rd tri with a little down time to recharge and prepare for the final weeks of this pregnancy.

Update: I finally have something to update! I had my 1-hr GTT last week. During the appointment, my BP was a little high and I had protein in my urine so my OB was concerned about pre-eclampsia, and I got to do an awesome 24-hr urine collection. It was pretty exciting. Good news - passed both my GTT and the pee test so no GD or pre-eclampsia! I go back next Tuesday for my hopefully final MFM appointment to check the baby's heart since heart disease runs in my family. My parents are coming up for that and they'll be helping to paint and decorate the nursery. It's gettin' real!
QOTW: I pretty much have a new celebrity crush every week and I don't want to offend any of them by naming just one. I will say, I dig Jase on Duck Dynasty. That's my hometown so it's neat to watch the show but regardless, Jase's humor...he just gets me.
Zack Morris was probably my longest celebrity crush but this pic of Johnny Depp was the first ever pic to don my bedroom walls.
And I want to be Mila Kunis's and Emma Stone's ugly friend. They seem fun and real.

We just signed up for our Bradley classes today which start in a couple weeks. I'm actually really excited to start preparing for natural childbirth - yes, I know I'm crazy!
I also felt Hunter really move for the first time yesterday morning laying in bed. It was so awesome and I just lay there enjoying it for about 10 minutes. Such a cool feeling.
My A/S is scheduled for next week, and I'm looking forward to seeing our baby boy again! I've been feeling good and love seeing my belly grow.

Look at me -- posting on the actual check in day! I have my GTT on Thursday. I am actually very intrigued by this drink and might actually be looking forward to it. I am a weirdo! Little Miss is moving like crazy and I have been having lots of BH and leg cramps like crazy.
Project Nursery is in full swing. Paint is done. New carpet is being installed on Friday. DH will move all the nursery furniture into the room this weekend. I can.not.wait to start decorating.

Update: Like a few of you others, this will be my last week in 2nd Tri! Just had an OB checkup this morning and the GTT. Everything looks good, and I'll find out about the GTT results in the next few days. I'll have another u/s in three weeks to see if the partial placenta previa has resolved (FX!). Little girl is moving like crazy, and she definitely moves more when DH and I are talking, pretty cute!

Teen crush changed frequently, but a main one in high school was probably David Boreanaz from Buffy/Angel
For an IRL, I think Jennifer Garner is probably a super nice person who would be fun to hang with.

My last appointment finally made me feel pregnant and we've started telling friends and extended family. I know, I know... it's about time, because I am 16w+ and definitely starting to show. The friends I can't get ahold of due to the time change are going to get an email or find out way further down the road. I just have too much going on to constantly try to contact people again and again.
QOTW: I've always loved Paul Walker. He's just such a cool, but seemingly down to earth guy. I don't know about a celebrity I'd want to be friends with... so many of them have a strong streak of crazy. Maybe Emily Blunt.
New here to 2nd tri. EDD is Nov. 23rd with Twins.
Things are going well. Done with endometrien (FINALLY!!!) which i am so happy about. DH and i also scheduled to do an elective u/s on June 9th to try to find out the sex of the babies. We will be doing it at a 3D place near our home, so I'm pretty excited about that.
Other than that, having shower at end of July due to some scheduling conflicts that we couldn't do it later, so we have been busy working on our registry as invites will go out in about two weeks. That has been a bit overwhelming.
Looking forward to this next phase of our pregnancy!

Thought we would be freeze all due to OHSS, but ended up getting more follicles then expected! 14 total!!! 12 mature and 11 fertilized. Dr calls for a 5 day transfer!!

QOTW: For a teen crash I'm in the Jared Leto/Kurt Cobain camp...man those boys looked like they needed saving (and to wash their hair). There was also Devin Sawa for a moment, anyone remember that gem? I've been consistently in love with Johnny Depp for a solid 10+ years now. He's on my list. How could he not be?
We are excited about baby boy #2! Jesse must have been excited to get a name and has been kicking up a storm! DH even has felt him a couple times. At our a/s we found out his placenta is in the back which means we are good for a VBAC if he gets into correct position at the end. I am slightly terrified and excited! EPI please!
I have started nursery planning. Originally, I thought I would move DS#1 to a new toddler room, but we decided it might be more stable for him to stay in his crib (that he loves) and just do another nursery. Plus, when I designed his nursery I did it so it would go into toddler/kid years. His is Michael Millers groovy guitar fabric and this time I am designing my own fabric! DS is an electrical contractor who plays guitar. So right now I am thinking of doing a light bulb theme. I am not 100% done, I might do a color in the background or still debating the color of the outlines. Might just stick with black and white since we have a black crib. I traced these light bulbs and then scanned them in and multiplied them!
QOTW: I am a total fuddy duddy. I don't get celebrity crushes! Never have! I appreciate a good looking man, but all those abs...just doesn't do it for me. LOL!

Not much really new here except for morning/ all day sickness decided to flare up again. My bump is definately getting bigger by the day. I can feel one of the babies kicking. We have our A/S on June 17th which seems like forever away. I am hoping the next 3 weeks fly by.
My celebrity crush is probably David Freese from the St. Louis Cardinals, he is good looking and super kind to his fans. I was at a game last summer with DH and we had VIP seats and he stopped to sign like 5 autographs on his way out to the field.

I painted the nursery this weekend - we're doing a safari theme so it's olive, khaki and ivory and I love it! LO has been kicking a lot and HARD! I am already seeing my belly move with each kick!

Update: Not much new to report. I have been feeling kicks a little higher which is always fun! We go for a regular OB appointment tomorrow. Our growth ultrasound and the glucose testing are the next things to come.

Just a Little Blog
Not too much to update this week, except that I am feeling a little less exhausted, so that's good. I wouldn't say energetic, but not so beat that all I want to do is lounge in bed. No recent doctor's visits. My next visit is a week from Friday, when we will be doing the A/S. Can't wait to have another look at our little guy! Otherwise, only news is I have started eating hamburgers. I haven't eaten red meat in year, but what can I say, I just feel like a burger once in awhile lately.
Celebrity crush... hmm. I have enjoyed Brad Pitt for as long as I can remember. Say what you want about his personal life, but he's damn hot and a good actor. I think Dane Cook is sexy in an obnoxious sort of way. No one else is really leaping to mind at the moment. Celebrity I would like to be friends with would be Pink, I think. She seems cool and down to earth. And she cannot record a bad song.

I did get diagnosed with partial placenta previa at my second u/s so I am a little nervous ok a lot nervous about that but I am just trying to remain calm and follow all the rules and pray that my little boy moves!
