    No. I'd say E milia pronouncing the middle like mill. Amelia to me is Ah meal ia. Slight differences but overall similar sound.

    This. We stress the E sometimes, when initially introducing our Emilia, as everyone assumes we're saying Amelia.

    When I showed this name to DH he said he thought it would be pronounced like Emily with an A on the end. I love the name, but am concerned about the confusion with Amelia.
