Stripping Question

I'm in the process of building my stash and have bought 6 gently used diapers - a CB, a few BG 4.0, and a FuzziBunz OS Elite. I plan to strip them before using them, and I have Laundry Tarts Strip It... Just a few questions:

1. Is this actually necessary?

2. Do I strip the diapers and inserts? Or just inserts?

3. Do I rinse hot or cold?

4. Is there a particular heat setting for drying the inserts I should use?

5. After I strip them, do I need to do anything else with them? Wash the with my new diapers when I prep those? Or are they good?

I have never used pockets so don't know that I can totally help.  If it were me, yes I would sanitize any used diapers.  I would strip both dipes and inserts.  In terms of drying follow the directions on the diaper.  I would prep new diapers separately from any sanitizing loads.

I wash all my used diapers in a hot load with 1/4 cup of bleach (if doing a full load). You could wash them with a load of towels.
