So, my lo is 5 months old, and so far the prefolds and covers we use on him overnight work just fine. I've read a number of posts where people say that as your lo gets older, prefolds won't be absorbent enough. At what age does that usually happen? I know it's going to vary for every kid, but I just want an idea. Thanks!

If you still like prefolds, you can just double up and use 2 at night.

I just added hemp to mine for night time. When she was a heavy wetter, I did two hemp inserts.

I just doubled up as she got bigger. We used them just shy of 3 years.

We had to go up a size for absorbency purposes (and we just fold it down in the back to fit) when G hit around 5.5 months.
