Gift ideas for donor husband/family?

We are nearing the final steps of adopting our five new DEmbryos!

I got the donor wife a special gift (just like I did our first donor) which is a beautiful snowflake necklace to always remind her of her five snowflake babies. And while her husband and I have not been in direct contact, he has certainly been a champ going to get his blood drawn and to see a psychologist per FDA requirements, yada yada yada. I know no dude really wants to do that kind of stuff so I am very thankful to them both. So that being said, I not only want to get the donor wife the necklace but something special for the donor husband too....or perhaps a whole family gift since they have four kids.

I was thinking something Texas-ish since we are in Texas and they are in California? Maybe a barbecue sauce gift set or something? A gift card to a local wine/spirits store so he can get a nice bottle or something? I honestly have no idea, and am not even married to those ideas so I would love some ideas! Help!

You could make a tx themed basket. A little of everything from down here not just BBQ. Bluebonnets, chili peppers, longhorns, BBQ, ect. Just a idea.

Do you know anything else about him, like if he likes sports?  Tickets for someone to see their favorite team play usually go over well.

Unfortunately I know very little about his personal interests. And I know that if I were to ask, the donor wife would put two and two together and realize I'm trying to get them a gift. So I'm left with only general gift ideas.

I, too, love the idea of BBQ sauces from Texas.  I asked my husband and he said any guy would like that. It's very sweet and I bet you'll have fun putting it together, too.
