Someone suggested Iris in my other post and I really liked it. I was wondering what others opinions of Iris are? DD is Liela and baby girl #2 is due in early October. Thanks!

It is pronounced LYE-la.

Love it. I wanted to use it for this DD 2 but folks thought it was too close to DD1's name. She's Isla.

Iris is NMS. That being said, I do think Liela and Iris make a nice sibset.

Adorable and fits well as a sib-set.  I know a two-year-old named Iris, and it's such a cute little girl name but will also age well.

I had a teacher in high school whose first name was Iris, and I knew a girl in college named Iris. Seemed old fashioned at the time, but now it seems stylish with names like Evelyn and Lillian in style.
