My GF is babysitting for an hour tonight and I really wanted to get the house cleaned before she gets here. It's not going to happen and I'm bummed. I'm also still feeling upset about my family not visiting. My mood just went so far south.

I completely get needing to clean the house for your friend.

My good friend lives on my street. My main reason for keeping a neat house is bc 'what if they stop by?'.

It's exhausting but I can't stop.

I'm the same way when I know someone is coming over. I run around the a crazy person and make sure everything is perfect. And if I can't? My anxiety is crazy. Also I'm sorry about your family, hugs
