I understand that there are posts where all the hateful/frustrated comments are warranted.. but I don't believe this is one of them.
No one was hateful. Frustrated, maybe. But saying the response to this post are hateful is going way too far.
I put two different words because I didn't know which to put. So I figured I'd do both just in case. I already said on the post below this one that I may not be understanding fully. I am new to this board, and don't know how it works yet.
Now I am feeling like a real idiot...it just dawned on me that I took a trigger shot 11 days ago 10,000 units Pregnyl. What are the chances it could be from that?I didn't test out my trigger this cycle but did a few cycles ago and I swear it was gone by day 5 or 6.
I had a positive HPT 11 days after my trigger that did not turn out to be a BFP. It isn't common, but it's possible. I would either give it a few days or keep testing to see if it gets lighter or darker. Hopefully it is a real BFP. Good luck!
I've seen some people test out triggers that stay in their system for the whole 2ww and it never really goes away but gets darker when it's a true BFP.
Good luck. I hope it's not the trigger.

had you previously tested out your trigger? I always test this early or earlier and have never had a line....I wonder if it differs per month or just per person on how long it takes the hcg to be gone

It can vary month to month. I've tested out all my triggers and its been various lengths each time. I would continue testing in the AM and see what happens. Good luck, hope thisi s the real deal.

I'm sick of looking at other people's lines! I don't mind bfp posts, but pos tests really make me mad!
Text it to a friend, show dh or something...and most likely, if you see a line, there is one!
::rant over::
Wait, what? If you're genuinely mad because someone posts a positive test then take a Bump break. You'd think people were balancing test cartridges on their husband's rigid penis before snapping the photo, the way you talk. It's NBD, really.
I can see some people are annoyed by her posting this, but the line is so faint that I could barely see it.. so give the girl a break. It's not like it was clear as day. She's allowed to get an opinion, and to have people be happy for her.
I understand that there are posts where all the hateful/frustrated comments are warranted.. but I don't believe this is one of them.
Congratulations sweetie! I wish you all the best
Did you not lurk at all before you started posting? My tolerance level is so low right now that I'm tempted to get out my post-its.
Lori, it could possibly still be your trigger if you weren't testing it out.
I tested out my trigger, and it was gone by 9dpt. But if I hadn't been testing out my trigger, personally I would have waited until 13 dpo (15dpt) to test because my LP is typically 11-13 days. Some people wait the full 2ww. Some people wait for their betas. Everyone is different.
As it was, I wasn't planning on testing yesterday to see if I was pregnant. I thought it was going to be triple confirmation that the trigger was out. It was a fluke for me.

First of all, congrats peanut! Second I am not kicking myself for a testing early and b not testing out my trigger. I POAS this morning I don't think I waited long enough after I went to bed, though and there was still a faint line. I don't think it's lighter then yesterday but also don't know if its darker. Will post soon and then just continue to wait!

Thank you and same to you!
I agree that it could be the trigger (our RE also recommends 14dpo testing)- but I hope that this is it for you.
