My doctor has never mentioned anything, but I was wondering if anyone was told not to consume nuts such as cashews and peanuts while BFing? I haven't been, but was wondering if it may demonstrate an allergy in LO if he has one or if it would prevent a nut allergy later.

This exactly. Unless LO has a food intolerance (such as MSPI), there's no need to limit what you eat.
The new recommendation on highly allergenic foods is actually to expose kids early to those foods unless there's a strong family history of allergies.
I figured it was no big deal because the doctor would have mentioned it. Thanks again.
