Re: Are you the same size/weight you were pre-baby

  • I've got 10 more pounds to go and I'll be there.

  • Yes but DD is 2. I think I am a couple of lbs under where I started.
  • I am about the same weight, but a smaller size overall. My shape is very different, though.

  • When I got pregnant this time, I was 4 lbs lighter than I was pre-pregnancy with DS.  Hopefully after this one I can get back there again!

  • Before getting pregnant again I was the same size and weight as before having Kate by about 4 months after I had her.  Actually 8 months after having her I was 10 lbs less than before I had her, but I gained those back after I went off the dairy free diet.  That said, I don't look the same.  I could be more toned and my ribs expanded or something because all of my pre-Kate shirts were way too short (not because my boobs grew!).

  • I weigh less and wear a size smaller than I did before I got pregnant with my 1st.  Then again, I've also spent the last 2yrs pregnant and throwing my guts up.  My oldest also pitches a fit whenever I eat, so sitting down for a meal just doesn't happen.  She's the best diet ever.

I always had wide hips and big boobs, so nothing really changed.  I just wear a size smaller.

  • I'm 20 pounds lighter than I was pre-baby, I'm still the same size, though (damn hip bones don't shrink!). But then again, my baby is 4 so I've had time...

  • I'm lucky to be smaller than I was pre-pregnancy- thanks to breastfeeding!
  • Yes, although I don't look the same.  Like Wellfleet, my pre-pg shirts are too short.  My bra size is now smaller (NOT a good thing!).
  • Yes - unfortunately! LOL

  • Ha! I wish. I weigh a good 80 lbs more. But my fat ass is too lazy to do anything about it.

  • I'm 22 lbs lighter.
  • Yes. I've lost 20 lbs recently to get there. I would like to lose 10 more lbs just because.
  • Nope, since I am PG again, but before I got PG I was about 5lbs less than when I got PG the irst time.
  • i was about the same right before i got pg again, but i don't usually weigh myslef. I go by how things fit and the fact that i could wear a bikini this summer and not offend anyone.  Stick out tongue
  • yup i'm about the same size as pre-pg with DD. of course i'm headed upwards again... i've put on a couple pounds already with baby #2.

  • 2 pounds lighter right now. ?However, I was 12 pounds lighter, but gained weight over the summer. ??

    ?

I am actively trying to lose it though. ? I would like to get 15 - 20 pounds UNDER my pre baby weight before next summer. ??

  • Yep, but about 10 pounds heavier than I was when I got married.
  • I have only had one baby but I am in the same clothes as before and maybe 2-3 lbs heavier I guess.
  • Yes. I had about 7 lbs to loose so I signed up for a 5K, a sprit tri and a 10K throught the year to get me motivated to get it off. Worked : )

  • No way.  I was pretty skinny pre-baby.  And I think I lost a lot of my muscle.  I am a lot flabbier now.  I can fit into most of my clothes, except for some 0s and 1s, and my weight is not bad.  But I am working on getting rid of the saggy baggy elephant look in my tummy and the droopy drawer of a butt.

  • I have had a battle with postpartum thyroiditis :(  So, I lost the weight quickly in the beginning and then went up 15 lbs again.  It pretty much sucked.

I have since figured out that I needed more exercise and less carbs to get my weight back down to normal, but I did not start wearing the same size pants again until she was a little over 2.  I joined a gym for a year and now I walk as much as I can and get on the treadmill a couple times a week.  I have NOT been as good about my diet recently, but I think I overall eat less than I used to.

But bikini?  I might be a size 4/6, but this ugly, raisin-y looking stomach is NEVER seeing the light of day again!  Not to mention my stomach muscles separated and never went back to normal no matter how many crunches I do, so I'm going for a tummy tuck after baby #2.

  • I'm about 15 lbs less than my pre-baby weight.  (nursing and WW got me back to pre-baby, running and WW got me under after I weaned)

I'd feel great about the drop in 2 sizes, if my boobs and belly weren't so saggy. (um, let's hear it for legs and ass!)
