We are huge Hockey people too. My Dad, brother, husband and BIL all play. We are Avs fans but rooting for the caps. Don't you just love playoff hockey?

Thanks for the love. We'll take all the cheering we can get :-) I never used to be a fan, but one of my buddies had tickets and would always invite me to the games. And once I saw hockey in person, that was it. There was no turning back.

Isn't that the truth. I know some ppl who are like hockey, ahh whatever. But they have never been to a game or really even watched on TV. It's the most exciting sport to me. And I guess having it be a big part of my life since I was born helped, lol. I actually met my Husband when I was 16, he was on my brother's team and we all went to Canada for a tournament.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
I can't watch the games anymore. I watched the first four, but now, there's just too much on the line and I get too nervous. So I just have DH flip back and forth between whatever we are watching and the games. When I am no longer sitting back, but am slumped forward on the couch with my hands clenched together, he knows it is time to change back to something less stressful. It's crazy. Also doesn't help he's a NYer through and through, so he's cheering for the Rangers and I'm yelling for the Caps.

True words. I'm not sure what my life would be without hockey. I've been a fan of Pittsburgh since junior high school and played for more years than I like to admit (taking off some time now for baby making). I can't wait to get back on my skates!

If it means we get past the Rangers, I'm in! Though seeing how you manhandled the Islanders, I am not sure I want that match-up :-)
