Mothers day, backfired.

So I spent the whole day enjoying my family yesterday. Didn't have to make lunch or dinner or do laundry. Well neither did anyone else, ALL WEEKEND!!! So now I have laundry mountain, frozen meat in the sink, two dirty bathrooms, four bad dogs, one almost walking baby and a partridge in a pear tree.
I vote for an extension to mothers day!

    Me too! I just quit my job, and my last day was Friday. I don't start my new one until next week. I had planned on keeping Tyler home today, but after the awful day I had, I took him to daycare and I'm running errands [aka shopping] by myself. I will pick him up early though because I miss him, but mama needs a coffee and some alone time!


    Enjoy! Yesterday blew chunks for me. What I would give to be able to do this.

    Heh.  We were away most of the weekend, so nothing got done, but nothing really got any worse either.

    I was picking up in the kitchen last night while TheBoy played on the computer, but when I pointed it out to him, he came and helped out.

    (Still a ton to be done around the house though.  Oh well.)
