dangit... I am watching Birth Day (stupid idea) and they are talking about inductions. I am very much against the idea of an induction when not medically necessary in an otherwise normal pregnancy. My sister is in the hosptial right.now getting a pitocen drip. A drip she did not want. She agreeded to cervidil bc douchbagDoc told her they would insert it and she could go home and rest. And of course, that wasn't true. Now, she is stuck with this induction that she was 100% against. She was due Nov 4th- she is just over a week late. She had the most perfect pregnancy ever, even though she is 37 and a former smoker! She never got one stretch mark and had no m/s. She had no one to be with her yesterday bc she didn't know she'd be admitted (and honestly, even though I asked about it and told her what I was told, she said Dr V wasn't going to admit her). Her H went to work yesterday not knowing that an induction was coming. So now, she has had two doses of cervidil, she is getting pitcoen (she is finally dilated to 3cm) and now bc the pit made her ctx harder, she had an epi put in (something she was going to hold off on until she got to 4 or 5cm).
I feel so bad that her birth plan totally went to shiiit bc she got sucked into an induction. ugh... This is the only baby she is going to have, even this baby was a total surprise! She gets one shot and fuuckking Dr Vemiulapalli is blowing it.
Dr V isn't even her regular OB! She normally sees Dr Wise, who was out last week when Dr V pulled this. Dr Wise is on today and Kelly feels better about that, but man. I hate Dr V so hard. I saw her one time and she was such a bitchface there was no way I would see her again. That's when I went to my fav OB. god...
Re: This close <> to tears
Hold the phone, the doctor lied to her? Re:cervadil and then being able to go home and rest. She agreed and she was then admitted instead of going home? That doc is a bitchface then.
I am so sorry. I'm sending fast non intervention labor vibes from now on.
