Midwife @ Beth Israel

Hi,

I'm 35 weeks and exploring the posibility of a midwife.  I tried to switch from a doctor to a midwife at 27 weeks but no one would take me because I was "too far along;" however, Beth Israel will!

Can anyone share their experience with a midwife at Beth Israel?

    I'm delivering at Beth israel in October. I met with an OB for my first appointment but have since decided to switch to a midwife in hopes of a more natural birth. The OB was fanstasic but when i met with the nurse she said the midwives would be more in tune with the birth u hoped to have. My first appointment with the midwife is on Tuesday. I'll update you once I meet her!
