See, you can never have too many!! You might have an emergency!
Hope she feels better fast. Someone in here recommended soy milk when L had diarrhea, the two times I've tried it the diarrhea was gone in a couple days. So much better than the week the time before.
Glad it worked. Haven't had to try it yet thankfully.
I seriously just had a very similar conversation with dh! We are renovating the laundry room, and I was told it would only take two days....It turned into 4 days, we just got the washer and dryer set back up, it's almost 4 am and I'm doing laundry because dd is sleeping in the last Flip cover with trifolded prefolds (yes, two!) that I just bought a week ago for little sister. Thank goodness I had enough diapers to last! He can never say I have too many diapers now.
Ugh. Sorry that's happening in the midst of your move.
J said this and was like, 'I think the universe is testing us.'
It thankfully seems to have passed already. I'm glad because when we took her to the doctor, she was saying how the kids who have been coming in with the same symptoms have been sick for five days or so.
I'll have to remember the soy milk tip for next time and/or if this comes back. We are sticking to the BRAT diet for this time. For the entire first day I just didn't feed her any solids and we stuck to straight nursing and water.
This was her first sickness besides a really tame cold once, so that was lots of fun too. I felt so bad for her, the first day she threw up 8-10 times in the first hour alone, it was awful. Also, you moms of multiple kids are rock stars because I seriously don't know how I could have cared for more than one child at once during this. No joke I am kind of doubting that I am capableofhaving two kids.
This has also inspired me to buy more covers, since my tons of flats did me no good once poop got on the cover. Oh, and did I mention how my diaper sprayer broke shortly before we moved, but since her poop has been solid for so long I didn't bother to replace it? What a fun two days it's been.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Re: The next time J says I have too many diapers...

Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
Glad it worked. Haven't had to try it yet thankfully.
