Mother's Day wish come true

The other day when we were all putting down what we really wanted for mother's day I put that I wanted a day off from everything. Well, today MH gave me my birthday card and for my birthday and mother's day, on my next day off he's going to get me a hotel room for the night that I can go to from 11 am until 11 am the next day. Alone. With no responsibilities. I love that man.

That sounds like a wonderful gift! Did your husband come up with the idea himself or did he get some hints?

There may have been a few hints... We actually had a discussion the other day about how he gets a day off from everything every now and then because I take LO to my parents. And then it's all on me, and I wanted to have a day where I didn't have the baby or the pets or even him and just wanted to have time to myself. I'm actually beyond amazed that he listened. It doesn't happen often so I'm taking advantage of it.
