thumbing through my nieces' 1st grade yearbook, I came across lots of nevaehs and aidens, but I could have died when I saw the name vyvyan. like vivian, only... youneek. have you ever seen anything so crazy?

That's actually a very old spelling. Maybe this kid's parents were being yooneek but that variation does have a history. I think Oscar Wilde's son was named that, and there is an ancient British family who used that spelling.

At first glance, this spelling took my mind right to vyvanse...an ADHD medication that I wouldn't want my child's name associated with.
