It's not CD related, but DH let DS play in the toilet earlier this week after flushing one of DS's poops. He made the argument that since it was flushed that it was clean. Uh... no DH! There's such a thing as germs, and you're letting DS play in the water that just held his poop. His logic blows my mind sometimes, and not in the good way.
I was holding DS on my shoulder when I felt and heard him make a very big wet poop. I waited about 5 minutes to make sure he was done. Since it sounded so wet, I worried that it would be coming out of the leg holes, so when I took off his pants I was pleasantly surprised to see everything was contained. My joy was shortlived as I took off his diaper cover to discover the poop had gone all up his back! I have no idea how that happened considering I was holding him upright when he did it! This poop defied gravity! And it was everywhere! On the inside and outside of the diaper cover, on his onsie, on the changing pad cover! I put down another prefold so he wouldn't be laying in the poop that got on the changing pad, but before I got it down, DS managed to wipe his arm and hand all in it, yuck! As I tried to clean that up, he started pooping again. He just kept going and going and going. I think I dusted at least 3 prefolds during this change and who knows how many cloth wipes. I don't know how such a little person can make that much poop!!!
As for a cocktail, I haven't had a drink in almost a year. I keep dreaming about all the wonderful concoctions we had at the all inclusive resort we went to before ttc last year. My favorite was the chocolate martini...yum!

My fail is NCDR, and not me, but I thought it was funny: I work in an ER, and a patient came in last night with the chief complaint "sleepy after taking Ambien." Um, yeah.
We went out for my FIL's birthday and I actually had a cocktail for the first time in months! The "Ruby Sipper:" Absolut Ruby Red, elderflower liqueur, cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, and a splash of grenadine. YUM.
I did fail with wash this week. Daycare sends my daughter's clothes back in plastic bags. She's a pretty messy eater right now, so we regularly get clothes back with food all over them.
I forgot to take them out right away and went to wash them last night. Yup, we had mold. I'm thinking that outfit is going to get tossed.
Lesson learned, remove and spray clothes from daycare the same day.
I'm actually thinking of taking her laundry downstairs each night, so that I spray it with stain remover right away.
I got a good deal on some unworn FB OS from someone who didn't like adjusting the elastic, and I thought I'd try them on my 9 lb 6 week old yesterday, and they looked like they fit well, so I left one on her and set her in her bouncy seat to take a shower. 30 seconds into my shower, she started SCREAMING, but she had been fussy all day, so I thought she was just fussing and finished showering super quick, but when I picked her up after i got out, she was SOAKED! Leaked out the legs... My bad.

I had some delicious watermelon punch this weekend. But now I must try ObLaDi's grapefruit cocktail. Holy smokes that sounds amazing!

That made me LOL, MrsP! I have to admit, I was trying to think about how I would deal with that if it happened to me. I was all like "Is there some way you can sanitize your kid, or would I have to just give him a bath and hope it washed away the germs and my OCD-like tendencies?"
Mine is not exactly CD related... Yesterday I went up to the school where I used to work to help sort out some end-of-year things for my replacement teacher. Anyway, while I was there another teacher brought her 8 month old in for the librarian to watch while she ran an errand. Three of us adults were hanging out when the LO started screaming and crying. We finally figured out that he had pooped, so the librarian laid him on a table to change him. I started getting out the diapers, wipes, etc when the librarian started hollering, "He's peeing!" I tossed her the first thing I could grab, which was my DS's burp cloth. We thought the crisis was over, got the clean diaper under him, and he started peeing and pooping again. The librarian (who is well out of her childrearing years) was beside herself. I was just trying not to laugh. We finally got him cleaned up and changed from head to toe. Poor kid! And odd side note, when I pulled the burp cloth out of my wet bag later, I could totally tell that it was not my kid's pee by the smell. How weird is that??

Pretty boring here.
