Trying to get my order in before 10 to get double points at KC! If you could choose, would you get Sbish shorties, Sbish cover, Kissaluvs cover, Kiwi Pie cover, or Ecoposh cover? Ready...go!
None of the above. I am not really a huge fan of machine knit. I do like the Sbish longies for smaller babies because:
a.) they are easy to pull on and off
b.) they are so soft
c.) they are so very warm
For cute factor I would go with handknit.
For durability and ease I would go with interlock. Soakers for the bulletproof factor overnights and shorties for the outdoor durability factor.
ETA ---> I see your kiddo is 2 months. I guess outdoor factor is probably irrelevant. I actually do have a FEW Sbish knit soakers for the itty bitty stage just becuase they are a bit easier to get on and off a floppy newbie as compared to interlock.

I feel like you are my actual wool Yoda. So do you think a different brand soaker would be best? My goal is bulletproof overnight that will hopefully fit him for a while. he is 11 lbs but 24 in long...super skinny with chicken legs. Should I go for interlock? Basically, just tell me what to buy, please. Haha
ETA: I also saw that Grovia has a lanolin spray...worth it? Is it easier to spray after cleaning?
Double layer is where it's at for bulletproof. I like WCW because it's interlock and that means you almost have to work at it to hurt it.
WCW = Wild Coconut Wear. The old name of the brand was Wild Child Woollies. She is a WAHM with a generally great quality product. If you watch Spots and DiaperSwappers you can often get one in pretty good condition for $25.
Her current sizing is runs a little more narrow, with a longer rise than her old sizing. Also, she now has "Small Long" which she didn't have in the past.
At 11 pounds I would think that you would probably need a small. However, you may want to be a little conscious that if you pick up one of the old label ones, the did tend to run wider, with a shorter rise. (I preferred this for my fat bebe but it sounds like it might not be great for you.)
(Incidentally I just check Spots for WCW and these popped up - great price!)
Another good affordable option for double layer soakers is Woollybottoms. Her stuff is upcycled so it is both cheaper and not quite as indestructible. These run bigger than WCW and you will definitely want a small. These come up cheap pretty often on Spots and DS.
Also, if you are on FB, you should join the BST page for both of those brands.
Even if you don't want to buy new you can generally get about 75 back in resale pretty readily but I wouldn't bank on more than that you can at least get an idea of sizing, what she's currently offering at what prices, etc.
Yessss I will plan on checking the website at 2:30 on Friday. I have been looking at Spots and haven't found any current listings...they must go fast! With her prices, I am fine buying new. Thanks again for all your help! Oh, and I can't stand mobile bumping either my posts always look like I'm a complete punctuation idiot.
There is an EUC small in blue on DS right now for 28. I can't link. But it is in the Mixed Diaper Lots section of FSOT. The listing reads "GM, PC, Totsbots, Thirsties, WCW and more!"
Re: Quick! Help me buy wool!
Ditto. Oh well.
