Ok so I don't recall having any strong food cravings with my DD but with this one i'm obsessed with...wait for it...lightly salted rice cakes! Seriously could eat the whole package! I guess it could be worse but it's just so weird! I seriously need at least 4 rice cakes per day...I actually think about them constantly. Crazy! Anyone else?
Re: 9 months - bring on the cravings?
I'm starting to crave random things, but my ridiculous need to eat everything in sight lets me forget what I was just craving.
It's like I have ADD of the stomach.
"Mmm, Pringles sound great right now."
"Nevermind. There is leftover ice cream. Eat that now!"
Ha! I craved those when I was pregnant with M, and they had to be the lightly salted ones too! I slept with a bag on my nightstand lol
Vanilla ice cream (preferably vanilla Frosties), dutch cocoa cookies and root beer... oh how I have craved root beer lately!
Watermelon- I can eat a whole watermelon every day!!!!
Ha! I see what you did there! I would agree with you.
I've got a serious sweet tooth all of the sudden. Especially fruit and popsicles.

With DS1 I craved tablespoons full of mayo with pepper on top, and warm cheese milk w/ pepper. I never did indulge in those cravings!!
With DS2 I craved lemon water all the time! I would start out with one or two lemons in a glass of water, then I would eat the lemon after the water was gone, then I would repeat all day long. By the end of my pregnancy I as up to 2 lemons cut up in my one glass of water, then I would eat all those lemons after the water was gone.... again I would repeat with each glass of water. I also craved the smell of lemons, like that pinesol to clean the house. I would clean my house, and if I didn't smell that lemon scent any longer I would mop over and over with HOT water. That was no longer cutting it, so I used to smell the lemon dish soap before I put it in the dishwasher.....that didn't cut it anymore. I wanted to eat the dishwasher soap. (I knew this wasn't okay to do, so I tried to trick my body) I poured the dish soap into a bowl, and pretended to eat it, and I would just smell it, then I had to touch it, and covered my hand in dish soap. Doing that didn't even satisfy my craving for the taste, and smell of lemons!
I remember after I had DS2, DH went home to make me food, and he brought me back a big cup of ice water with 2 lemons cut up in it. I took one swig and I had the worst bitter sour face ever! Crazy how quick your body changes!! DS2 loves lemons btw and he eats them raw without making a face!
With this pregnancy I am craving anything spicy. I can't get enough of spicy food.
