Sick and so miserable - moan

So I am sick with a bad cold or flu. Eyes and nose streaming. Feeling awful. LO is being particularly fussy as well - not sure if she's getting sick, or if it's teething, or just frustration because she wants to crawl. Is SO close to crawling, so gets v frustrated.

When I'm feeding her, if I sneeze or blow my nose, she gets a fright and stops feeding. Then cries.

I couldn't sleep last night because I was too hot or too cold, so that doesn't help. And then I'm all miserable because there is actually nobody I can call for help. (Am SAHM.)

DH is ridiculously busy at work, so he can't take time off, my folks are far away, DH's folks won't and we have no other family around. Friends are either at work or have demanding LOs. So I'm feeling sorry for myself. 

And LO tried to eat all my tissues!

All I can say though, is that I don't know how single parents do it. At least I had DH last night and this morning to help.

I know how you feel... I'm sick right now too and it sucks!  I work full time but I don't have any sick time to take right now.  LO is at daycare.  What I really wanted to do this morning was drop her off at daycare and then go back home to crawl back in bed for the rest of the day! 

Could you maybe get a babysitter for a day or two to help out around the house so you can relax a little, take a nap, etc.?

Being sick with a sick baby is the worst. I think the worst feeling in the world is needing to cough/sneeze when LO is almost asleep in my arms. I've lost count of the number of times I've had tears streaming down my eyes from trying not to cough/sneeze and scare her awake.
