Round ligament pain and sex....

in 2nd Trimester

So it has been confirmed that I am having round ligament pain.  It is nt a sharp pain as defined, rather it is a dull nagging uncomfortable feeling in my pelvic region.  With that said, sex sounds like absolutely no fun, but I was wondering if any of you ladies have had round ligament pain and if you had sex was it painful or uncomfortable?

    You might have SPD instead of RLP. SPD is a duller pain in the pelvis, while RLS is more of a sharp pain. I had both SPD and RLP with both my pregnancies. SPD got so bad that I could barely put on my pants or get in and out of the car during my third trimesters. With both SPD and RLP, it did not bother me to have sex however. I guess you never know till you try it!

    I just read the symptoms of SPD and that sounds much closer to what I am experiencing.  Thank you for your comment.
