Ella Grace because Raelyn seems like a smoosh name. But I'm also sick of hearing the name Ella and then pair it with the MN Grace...definitely over done.
I agree with PPs though...you guys need to compromise instead of having one person "losing" and one "winning". I think both need to go.
to the bolded. I honestly love both names, but if you had Raelyn and he hates Ella, then it's time to go back to the drawing board. The great thing about names is that they're pretty much infinite, and I'm sure you will find one you can agree on.

I can only think of Raylon, Timothy Olyphant's character in Justified. And while he's very hot in that role, not so good for a baby girl. Ella is overdone IMO but lovely.

Not a fan of Raelyn at all. It is a smoosh name, sounds awkward, and super trendy with the whole "y" thing. Ella is nice, and Grace is a nice middle name. But if you can't agree ,you need to start again with some new names.
Re: I'm torn between
Ella. I don't like Raelyn at all.
But if your husband doesn't like it you may need to scrap both first names.
Ella Grace.
I just don't like the look of Raelyn. It looks and sounds clunky. And the -lyn endings is a big trend right now that I'm also not a fan of.
Ella by a mile.
But if he is really not sold on it, I think it's time to find a name that you both like and agree on.
Love love love Ella.
Er - I wouldn't want anything that sounds like Railin' associated with my daughter
What about Ella Raelyn as a compromise?

I say scrap both and start over, OR compromise on Ella Raelyn.

This. I love the name "Ella" but I know four little girls with that name.
