Does your man, or if you are a man do you, wear jewelry? If so what? Not talking about wedding bands here.
I'm a little ahead of the game because I dropped the ball last year but I want to get DH a piece that he will wear and possibly pass down to DS I'm also thinking something engraved just not sure whether ring, bracelet, necklace or watch.
Re: Man jewelry
Maybe a nice pair of cufflinks?
BFP 1- EDD 2/09/11 Missed MC DX @11 weeks D&C- 7/25/10 BFP 2- EDD 12/22/11 Natural MC @ 5w 2d BFP 3- EDD 1/25/12 DD Josephine born 1/16/12
Cuff links are a no go because he has a billion.
yea I tend to agree but he said in passing that he wanted to get his ring engraved with DS birth date. So I'm kinda leaning towards a ring because his dad and brother both wear right hand rings. Also, I always get him watches so he already has 10 so I thought I might switch it up. Just curious if anyone else's DH wear rings
Thanks! Yea his brother wears a lot of jewelry too I think mostly because his wife is Italian and they tend to be more secure with wearing more. I know DH said he wouldn't wear a necklace so I think a ring is best. And like I said he has so many watches I feel it wouldn't be special unless I got a really, really nice one.

MH just wears his wedding band and his watch.
And his band only cost like $75 because he kept saying he wasn't sure that he'd wear it all the time. I had the best ring ever picked out for $1300, but I wasn't dropping that kind of money for a ring he thought he wouldn't wear. He wears it ring all the time though (didn't bother him as much as he thought).
We went on a vacation one year to Mexico and bought some handmade bracelets and he wore that thing until it fell off...literally. But that's the only other piece of jewelry he's ever really worn.
See that's where I'm torn! He hasn't ever worn anything else, other than watches.
And I'm not paying more than 150 max for anything because I know there is no guarantee he will wear or like it
What about a nice pocket knife?
MH always has a pocket knife on him (for work). He has a growing interest in them and collection of them.
I also gave him once a custom order "coin". It has a phrase of special meaning to us on one side and the first initial to our last name on the other side. It's kind of like a "rubbing coin". IDK if that's something that is a well known "thing". It's about the size of a 50 cent piece...
I also second a PP's suggestion of a pocket watch. MH wants one, but just to pass down. I don't think he'd carry it.
He doesn't wear any. He doesn't even want to wear a wedding ring when we get married, but I told him it wasn't an option.
If he's into watches, I'd do that. Bracelets and necklaces aren't "man" pieces, IMO.
SCANDAL!
This. I knew a bunch of guys that had the initial rings back when we were in HS in the 80's and we thought they were so cool! Just not my thing nowadays. I would do a really nice watch.
