Ok, I was going to make this a clicky poll because I heard rumors of them being back, but alas, it isn't working.
So...
How do you wake up in the morning?
1) Do you wake up on your own (I'm kidding. Do not reply with this option because I don't want to know about it if you get to sleep until you actually feel like getting up. I cannot control my envious ways.)
2) To an alarm clock ringing
3) To a baby crying
4) To your SO getting up
5) Something I haven't thought of
Re: OT- GTKY poll
I was just thinking I can't remember the last time I set an alarm because I have a built in one...
2) My alarm during the weekdays.
A mix of 1 & 3 during the weekends. But don't be envious of me, It's more of just a habit of getting up in the morning than actually getting enough sleep. And usually it's only 10-15 minutes before our daughter wakes up.
I wake up shortly before noon to the sounds of birds chirping and the smell of freshly brewed coffee as my shirtless manservant Jorge brings me breakfast in bed. It's glorious.
Seriously, though, we bed share with A, and we usually wake up for the morning at the same time, and she nurses first thing so I get to lay in bed for a long time before having to actually get up. Sometimes I wake up before her, but she's always awake within fifteen minutes. Now because there's usually actual sunlight when J is leaving, sometimes she wakes up when he does, which effing sucks. The other day she did that, and I kept my eyes shut hoping she's lay back down, so she came over and kissed me all over my face to wake me up. How could I stay annoyed after that?
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Your new place sounds awesome, can I move in? Or maybe just vacation there for a while?

I wake up to a baby yelling. Very rarely, I wake up to DHs alarm. Occasionally DH gets up with the baby and I get to sleep an extra hour.
