I just saw this on TV and thought of you!  Apparently ants will not cross over a chalk line.  You can just draw a line around doors, windows and anywhere else ants are coming in and they won't go past it. Neat, huh?

Damnit, really? On TV, they were drawing the lines inside.  Maybe you have to draw it in your own territory?  I really want it to work, lol!  I think it's awesome.

Thanks for the tip! I would try it if I could figure out where they are coming in now. All the ones that were outside have disappeared, so I'm not sure if the ones inside are just leftovers that were hanging out in the wall or what. I also can't figure out where they are coming into the kitchen. They just magically appear on the counter around my sink. We've caulked every crack and hole we can find, but they keep coming back!
