What nickname are you using for LO until you can name your baby officially? I haven't settled on one yet. Curious to see what you all are doing!

Very cool.

I've been calling it bean. MH changes each week as my ticker changes. Last night he was calling it fetus. Yep, I married a special man.
Yep, special! Actually, I don't know as my husband would be comfortable to use the word conversationally. I'm pretty impressed!

My step daughter calls me her pickle as a nickname/ term of endearment. Sounds strange, but it all good. So she has been calling the baby, baby pickle. DH and I pretty much call it the bean or just baby.
Mommy to Patricia Catherine, born still at 22w6d, 8/2/12. Mommy and Daddy will love and miss you forever baby girl!

My son loves pickles! I wonder how he'd deal with the baby being a pickle?

Originally DD was just nugget but while babysitting one of the girls thought I was roaring while I was in the bathroom vomiting, so I started calling her dino nugget.
We call her baby bee sometimes now. So this LO is mini bee.

Dino Nugget... very creative! I like it! Mini Bee is cool, too, though. Sweet.

interestingly, my hubby took after calling it by the "fruit of the week" on my ticker...so it has been our little blueberry, raspberry, & now olive. hehe. We told my parents-in-law about it, & one day my MIL even said, "give the raspberry a hug from us!"...was too cute! I think blueberry was my favorite one. Otherwise, I just call it "baby", & our roommate calls it "peanut".
BOC..I originally started calling it ball of cells but shortened it to BOC.
Do you speak the letters bee-oh-see or do you say something like "bock"? It's a creative idea!

My husband's a fan of peanuts... This could work....

Ditto to previous posters who call it by the fruit or veggie of the week. In some email communications with my mom and MIL I've used "blobby" (which is a combo of blob and baby that I saw used somewhere on this BMB).
We call her bun as in bun in the oven. Sometimes we refer to her as the fruit of the week. Right now she's a blueberry!
We tend to call bun a "she" but who knows!
Appleseed kinda stuck, because that's what the ticker said when I went to figure out my EDD. xD
My four year old niece thinks there's a complete but very tiny baby inside of me that has to soak in water like one of those expanding toys you can buy before I can pull it out of my belly.
As of today: platypus. Last night I dreamed I was in the ocean and a platypus latched on to me, afraid to go back in the water. I felt a strange need to protect it and keep it safe so i carried him around with me everywhere. We had a scare this morning with spotting but after a u/s we seem to be ok for now. I thought of the platypus all morning and how it latched on to me for dear life and how I kept it safe and now we've been calling the baby our little platypus.
we're calling it duckling, and my uterus is the nest according to my SO lol...very different. when it was the size of an apple seed he called it the apple duckling
I googled this to come up with creative names and came across Cletus the fetus. My husband loved it. I hate it so much. So of course he says it to irritate me. :]
At the moment my husband is calling it Jenry!! Lol. I have know idea how or where it came from. And yes i did married a very special man...
But I have not settled on a nickname yet. It might change work to work on the size he or she is...
I ususally just call it "the baby" but I had started calling my angel baby "monkey" after the furnature I'd picked out for the nursery (it was jungle themed) and I really like the sibset themed nicknames. I've seen someone do it with fruit, and I thought it was adorable. So I may be sticking with animals. I'm sort of thinking about a rubber ducky theme for this one, so I may start calling it "ducky"
But I also really wish I could think of some clever December themed one. I like snowflake, but it's not an animal. Maybe reindeer? Or elf? (even though that's kind of a person and not an animal)
Decisions, decisions.

For some reason my boyfriend wanted to name our baby Vladimir Ezra. Obviously I'm opposed, but since we don't know the sex yet I'm 7.5 weeks we've nicknamed it Vladdy Ezzerina

DH's nickname for me is FrenchFry... I'm originally from Idaho. So, the baby's nickname is either Spud or Small Fry, depending on the day.
To tell DH we were pregnant, I bought a onesie that said "Small Fry" on it from David and Goliath. Ha ha ha!
