Tricare and Doula

So I was going to ask this on the mil family page too but I noticed a few military ladies on here. I have heard some insurance companies. Reimburse you for doula services I know I can call and ask but thought I would see if any of you ladies know if tricare does this. Sorry for the typos im on my phone.

I have a friend who's husband is navey and she was told that a midwife would be covered but not a doula. I haven't looked into it personally. I would call the tricare office and ask.

From what I have read, a doula is covered if your spouse is deployed. I can't remember exactly where I found that, I would assume Tricare's website. I could be wrong though and it could be from an inaccurate source. If you call your region's number they will help you though. Most of the time I have had really good luck with their customer service.
