I just had a shower last weekend and I was wondering how long I have to get my thank you notes sent out... I still have at least 1 more shower and I have so much other stuff to do so I'm getting started on them now but I need to know. Thanks..

Honestly, get them done as soon as you can. You'll have a whole new batch to do for your next shower, then a round of notes to send after baby comes, and you'll only get more tired, busy, and uncomfortable as time goes on.

Most people are pretty understanding that there is a LOT going on, so they don't expect them immediately. I'd shoot for within a few weeks or a month of the event, but if it gets pushed to the side and you find yourself 6 or 10 months from now with a whole slew to write, remember that late is better than never.

sounds good thanks, I was planning on a month at the latest.. oh the stress lol of coarse it will all go away after the baby comes ha JK

I'd take an hour or two one night this week and knock them all out if you can. You do not want those hanging over your head as you go into the next shower. Plus, as PP said, things will only get more hectic going forward.

I like mine to go out within 1 week, 2 max.  If it goes more than 2 weeks, I feel like I'm slacking. I know there are other things that need to get done, but the quicker you get them out, the better off you are.

I send them out right away so I don't forget anyone. But that's me. It's easier just to get it done with. Do it while your watching TV or a movie or something :

This. I did most of mine while watching TV.

this. I just finished up ours and put them in the mail thursday. We had our shower out-of-state on the 20th of April.
