rate boy names?

Yes, I'm posting again lol. We're team green btw. Last name starts with a G, ends in Son, and is 2 syllables. Here is my list of boy names so far:

Killian Dennis (with a K because with a C, I can't help but say "sillyehn")

Seamus Dennis

Riley Dennis

Winnie Dennis (FH's pick)

Trevor Dennis (my favorite but FH hates it)

Kensington Dennis (on the fence but FH likes it)

Rory Dennis (FH hates, but I love)

MN is Dennis after my grandpa and not changing. Rate (please be nice!) and comment with how many you've known?Thank you!

    FH is your hubbs?

I like Rory, then my next fave is Seamus.

    Don't like Kensington or Killian.

    The others are just OK.

Of these names I only know one Rory, and he's in his early 30s.

I really like Seamus but it doesn't flow with Dennis.  Second choice is Cillian with a C.

We have very different tastes, so none of these really appeal to me, but out of them I'd pick Riley and Trevor.

I don't like how Seamus sounds with Dennis. It's a nice name otherwise.

Winnie is a girl's nickname in my mind (short for Winnifred) or a plush bear.

Rory is cute on a baby, but I can't picture it on a grown man.

Killian and Kensington are just too trendy for my personal taste.

Is it still a hard C? I haven't heard it out loud.

    Order of preference

Trevor (I know one in his 30s)

    Riley (I know one who's 6)

    Rory (I have a problem pronouncing it, but I'm weird ;) )

    Seamus

    Kensington

Winnie (is this supposed to be short for Winston? I know one Winston, he's 7)

Killian love, but I actually prefer it with a C. They are pronounced the same, Cillian is the traditional Irish spelling. Killian is Anglicised. I knew one guy with this name when I lived in Ireland and met a little one [around 3] at the library today. Not sure which spelling he had.

Seamus like, this one is on my long list too. Again, I knew a handful in Ireland and taught one last year. A mom in my local baby group has an older child [4ish] named Seamus. I live in an area where just about everyone has either strong Irish or Scottish heritage though so these names might be less common in different areas.

Riley like this one a lot too. I know several boys named Riley ranging in age from babies to twenty somethings and only one girl. It's definitely more common for boys than girls in my area.

Winnie not a fan. I only know girls and stuffed bears living in the Hundred Acre Wood named Winnie.

Trevor eh, fine. I don't dislike it but I much prefer your first 3 names. I know of a couple my age.

Kensington dislike, sounds extemely snooty and faux pretentious to me. Don't know any.

Rory I have this one on my list too. I know a 60ish man and a teenage boy named Rory. Knew two adult men with this name in Ireland too. It suited them all just fine.

All of this.  I know several girls named Rory, but never heard it for a boy.

    Riley or Trevor

Edit: I just noticed you said your DH doesn't like Trevor. If that is the case then I would say Riley. You should both be on board with the name you choose.

I would go with Cillian with a C.  I love it like that and can't stand it with a K.

The only person I've known with a name from your list is a Trevor and I have bad associations with it.  I had a cat named Kensington and we called him Kensie.  I thought it was cute, but not sure it fits a human.

Trevor then Rory. I know one Seamus but I agree with pps that Seamus doesn't sound quite right with Dennis.

I like Killian and Trevor the best.  Winnie sounds very feminine to me and the others are ok but just NMS.
