Purées

When did your LO stop eating pur?es?

We still do pouches on occasion (mostly on-the-go), but I stopped buying them in large quantities back in December....so 16-ish months? DS didn't have any teeth, though, so that was the easiest way for me to get a bigger variety of food (mostly veggies) into him.

We stopped purees completely a few months ago, so when DS was about 9 or 10 months?  He didn't get his first teeth until after 9 months but he has always been a great eater and wants whatever I'm eating.

We still do applesauce and yogurt though, but DH and I eat those too so I don't think of them as a 'puree' exactly.  And I keep a few pouches on hand for when we're out and about and he needs an easy snack; but that's about it.

We still use the pouches occasionally, but DD started refusing pures at 9mo so we moved to all table food at that point.

I unintentionally did BLW since by 6 months DS was insisting on feeding himself.  So I went from chunky homemade purees to soft foods by 7 months so we had less of a mess.  He still eats applesauce and yogurt and such, but I don't count those as purees.

Completely around 10months I think? We're working on self-feeding with a spoon and he does applesauce and yogurt  several times a week. I keep fruit smoothie pouches for on the go snacks sometimes too. I don't really consider any of those "purees" in the traditional sense though.

He stopped getting them regularly around ten months. He still gets apple sauce and food pouches when we are on the go or in need of a snack he can feed himself and be relatively mess free.
