I am so excited... I am a lawyer and just found out that my supervising partner approved a reduction in my targets so that I can be on a reduced schedule. Looks like I'll be able to pick my oldest son up from kindergarten when he starts in the fall...how is he that old?...and work from home as needed on Fridays. My middle daughter will be at preschool on Friday mornings, so I will get special time with each of my three kids on Friday. Mornings will be with DS2, then DD before she naps, then DS1 while DD and DS2 are napping.
I've never had this much time with my children, and it has always been a hurt in my heart. I am just so thankful to finally be in a position to make the shift.
