Hello!

I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking this board hoping to be a part of it. I am CD36 and got my BFP yesterday. My husband and I ttc for a year and my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks. Just when we were ready to try again, he was diagnosed with stage III brain cancer. It was awful. He had surgery, chemo, and radiation and he is doing so amazingly well. After much pondering and praying, we decided we still wanted to try for a family, but as I am in nursing school we decided to wait until the fall to try again.

I am still sort of in shock because we weren't even trying at all and I had just stopped birth control in February to try to let my cycle normalize. Its just crazy that we tried so hard for that whole year! I charted, I tried all the crazy headstands and everything and now, when I least expect it, it happens. And we only bd about 3 random times this month so who knows!

I feel like this must be meant to be. We had such a hard year with the cancer diagnosis. A part of me is still nervous about another mc, but there is no reason for me to suspect that this won't be a normal, healthy pregnancy, so I am doing my best to focus on that.
