Surprise pics

We're 6wks3days and had a photographer come to our house today to take pregnancy pics. It was so fun! Our plan is to use those pics to make Mother's Day cards to give to our parents on Mother 's Day. We're dog lovers so our two labs were also in the pics and it was great! We kinda did the big brother/sister thing with the dogs. The pics are so cute and we're so excited so I just had to share:

I'm guessing these are more just like family pics? I mean, without any sort of bump can they really be called maternity pics? But it sounds like you had a good time!

No they're not maternity pics. We just wanted pictures of us with a pair of baby shoes in the pic to give our parents a clue that we are expecting. Just something fun and a different way of telling our parents besides just blurting it out.

Awwww I love it!!! I'm such a dog girl too.... My pup taught me how to be a mommy first lol!!!


We're going a similar thing but sending out a card to all out of town family and friends that will have a picture of us with a caption that reads "Postcard 2, Postage 49c, look on your face when you realize there are three of us in this picture... Priceless!!! Arriving December 2014"
