How accurate is the dating the doctor gives you from an ultrasound? I think I may be off on when my lmp was and im dying to know how far along I really am. My 1st appt is May 1st.

I knew my conception date and O date, so I gave them that. LMP I would have been December 1st, O date only would have said the 8th, but we dated at the 9th, so I was pretty dead on. If you know on average around what cycle day you ovulate, if your cycles are predictable, then you may be able to guess close, otherwise, you only have a few days to wait. Due dates are just a guess anyway, your baby has no idea what day they are "supposed" to exit and will do it when they please.

I was positive i was 6w3days from when i o'd. baby measured at 6w4days. so really close.

Early ultrasounds are supposed to be very accurate, so I wouldn't worry about your LMP.  And like PP said, it's just a date, so it doesn't matter if it's a few days this way or that way.
