Used baby stuff!

A work friend of my husband just had his last child about 6-8 months ago and invited us over to their house to take a bunch of stuff they were done with.  We got so much free stuff!!  2 jogging strollers, 2 bouncy seats, a swinging chair thing, baby bath and a couple of activity mats!  Everything was really clean and in great shape.  They said they'd have some more stuff for us by the end of the summer.  So nice. They wouldn't take any money for any of it so we just promised them we'd pay it forward when its time to get rid of all our baby stuff!  Its all starting to feel real now that we have a pile of baby items in the soon-to-be nursery!

That's awesome! It's always nice to get stuff from people you know. Also it is nice to pay it forward. I did that with my daughters stuff (watch, now I will have a girl). Either way, it is nice to help someone else.

It's always nice to get free stuff. A woman my mom works with (whom I have never met, btw) has given me her crib for free. She also has offered to let me go through her storage unit where all her baby stuff is and let me buy anything else at yard sale price. I'm just waiting to find out the sex of the baby. Some of her things are gender neutral but some are boy. My mom is so excited about the baby that she couldn't wait and went and bought a bouncer from her. Its in really good shape and looks new, so I can't wait to see what else she has available.
