Hi Ladies!

I had my ER for IVF #2 last week- we got 8 eggs and currently have seven embies growing well! We were pushed to a 5 day transfer on Tuesday. All good news so far. We'll transfer two and cross our fingers.

QOTW: No baby stuff for me. Feels too awkward. I do have DH's rocking horse from when he was little that I rescued from his parents house (they were gonna give it away!). But other that that- nothin.

Today is CD 31 and I started spotting a few days ago, which means that CD1 is probably near. We'll probably be visiting the doctor this week in order to determine what's next for us.

QOTW: I used to buy all kinds of things for a future baby, but I've recently stopped doing that. In fact, I've given a few of these things away as baby shower gifts. We are approaching two years of TTC and seeing those things around the house is starting to make me a bit sad.

I had monitoring yesterday and today, going back again tomorrow to trigger (hopefully) and then start TI.  Looks like I have 2 follies on the right and 1 on the left.  I've never responded with 3 follies before, my first 2 clomid cycles I had 2 and then 1, so I'm a little nervous.

QOTW:  Definitely a no for me on the baby gear.  I feel like that would be tempting fate, or something like that.  Plus it would make it that much more frustrating to me to have baby stuff around month after month.

Happy Sunday ladies!

I am 12dpt and 10dpo and holding out to test on Tuesday.  Even if this cycle is a bust, I am extatic that I am not spotting!  I normally start spotting around 7dpo.  If we are moving on to round 2 of this, I think we are are going to do the same thing.  And if another round of TI fails then on to IUI.

QOTD:  I have not bought anything for our future baby.  However, I am guilty at looking at things online.  But I also look at fly traps online...I am a total Internet window shopper!

Next cycle we are moving on to injects and IUI.  It has been more difficult for me emotionally than I thought that we need more intervention, but not really unexpected.  My appointment to go over everything is tomorrow. 

 

Forgot the question!: No, I don't have any baby related items.  When we first started TTC I made a LOT of bookmarks for stuff.  I haven't done that in a long time now.

QOTW:  I just have the Chicago Bears onesies that I gave to DH in December when we got a BFP from IVF #1. I also may or may not have an Amazon registry that I made while on bedrest during the IVF.  Just a place to save things that I see that I like.

In my first IVF cycle.  Can't seem to update my siggy but things have been going well so far.  My 5 day transfer is tomorrow.  We plan to transfer one blast and hope for some frosties!

QOTW: I bought a little monkey to give DH when we got our first BFP.  Pulled it out again with BFP #2.  Starting to think it's jinxed.  I won't buy anything else but I did see some cute piggy banks online yesterday that were really tempting.

tigger ~ (((hugs))) IF is such a mind f**k, I'm sorry you are having those feelings.

As for me, I did have a minor freak out yesterday when I realized that I am starting Lupron for IVF #2 on Wednesday and my med order isn't completed yet!!! I keep telling myself that it will all be ok, but if the pharmacy doesn't call me back by noon on Monday, you can bet I will be calling them!  I have come down with a bit of a cold too, so I am doing everything in my power to get better asap. 

QOTW: No baby stuff here. I can't bring myself to buy anything. My mother is hanging on to some things for me..... my old toys, a blanket and some stuffed toys my grandmother made, etc. I really hope that we get to use them, it doesn't look like my sister will have any children and my brother is finished having them so I'd hate it if she hung on to these heirlooms and we didn't end up with any children. I think it's really sweet of her to save it, though.

Today is CD 2...no miracle BFP on an unmedicated TI cycle...shocker.  Anyways, starting cycle 23, I think we are going to continue with our break, its actually been kinda nice.  

I don't buy baby things, really can't even look at stuff in the store without getting sad.  I also have a wish list on amazon like Schwind where I just save stuff I like.

Update on me:  Last break cycle!  Should have cd1 for IUI#5 around May 18th.  Coming up so quick now!

QOTW:  I've not bought a single thing in in the almost 4 years of TTC - even after our first BFP because it ended so quick.  I keep thinking maybe I should buy one little this this upcoming cycle as a symbol of hope but who knows?  We do have a changing table in our guest bedroom from SIL and the matching crib has been in her basement waiting for us for over three years now.  It used to be really depressing to see it, but since it's in a room I almost never enter and I'm using it for storage currently, I try not to think what it's really for.

FX for everyone who needs it! I'm on CD16 waiting to O. It's just TI this cycle as we are still in the testing phase. DH and I are meeting with the doctor tomorrow to discuss our results and hopefully come up with a plan. My HSG showed that I have a Mullerian Anomaly... Septate, arcuate, or bicornuate... So I had a MRI to hopefully complete the diagnosis. I'm nervous about what we will find out tomorrow.

QOTW: I bought a onesie at the 2011 Philly Marathon race expo that says "In training for the 2030 Philly Marathon" ... I was so excited to have just come off of the pill... I didn't think that it would turn into a painful reminder at this point. I keep it hidden and every now and then take it out to remind myself to keep the faith.

QOTW: I haven't bought anything. I have always kind of felt like it is tempting fate. I took up knitting not long ago to help with the stress of work and IF treatments. It has been hard not to knit cute baby blankets and baby clothes but I have managed to keep myself busy with other projects.

Today is CD1 for me, so unsurprisingly, our cancelled IUI - turned Clomid + TI cycle didn't work. So it looks like we are on to Letrazole + IUI#3.5 this cycle. I'm taking a week off of work and going home to spend time with my family, so hopefully that will help get my mind off of things a little bit.

QOTW: No, I do not buy baby related things. To me it just feels like a reminder of what I don't have. I get my fair share of looking at baby things because I have 5 nieces and nephews, but I don't buy anything to keep for myself.

IUI #2 (first with RE) was a bust.  I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up since it was an unmedicated IUI, but I did and was really disappointed when the cycle was a BFN.  

We are now starting a Clomid + trigger + IUI cycle.  This is my first cycle with a trigger shot.  Also, since I had really bad post coital tests, my RE did some cultures before my IUI and one came back positive for a bacterial infection.  DH and I were both given antibiotics since it's possible to pass the infection back and forth.

ETA: I forgot the QOTW.  I don't really buy baby things, I figure there will be plenty of time for shopping once I am pregnant.  I did buy a pregnancy book for both me and DH and a baby names book early on in our TTC process.  I only bought them because they were clearances when borders went out of business and both are tucked away in a drawer right now.  I have started crocheting a baby blanket.  DH thought I needed to get back into some hobbies to help distract me from our IF treatments (he's probably right).  I started crocheting last year when I made a baby blanket for my sister (It turned out a little lopsided but not bad for my first attempt.  She loved it and takes it to all of my nephew's picture).  I just hope starting another baby blanket wasn't a bad idea.

I'm JennyS, TTC since Feb 2012.  preliminary testing with the RE is finally complete, and followup is this Thursday!  a little bummed bc DH won't be able to make the appointment, but I didn't want to wait another month!  Last week at my hsg, the Nurse Practitioner said it looks like PCOS (i had a feeling!), and we'll probably start with clomid or letrozole.  she said we'd start with timed intercourse and move to IUI if that doesn't work!  sounds like a great plan. I'm looking forward to seeing if they plan to trigger or add metformin, even though I'm not IR.

I am smack in the middle of my 1st 2ww after my first medicated cycle. In all honesty it is probably my first true blue 2ww ever since I never even ovulated before. I am letting myself get way too hopeful though!

QOTW: When I went to Europe last month I went to Florence where the writer of Pinocchio is from so I bought a little Pinocchio doll and then I got a Pattington bear stuffed animal and kids book when we were in London. When I got home I told my hubby that if thinks we should have them then I could give them to my BFF who just had a baby. He didn't have a problem with it.  Also, my test day is May 6th, which is the Monday before M-Day, so I had a moment of insanity and ordered a couple of baby rattles so we could surprise our family on M-day. I will probably regret ordering those but I figure we will surprise them at some point with a baby, even if it is adoption down the road... I also may or may not have a private board for baby stuff on Pinterest.

Hi Ladies!!  Good luck to those of you in the middle of a cycle and ((HUGS)) to those who need them!!

I am right in the middle of the dreaded 2WW!!!  I could test a week from today, but will be in St. Louis visiting my SIL's brand new baby and I decided to wait the extra day and test on Monday when we get home  I am staying optimistic and I am definitely having phantom symptoms lol....but, I am not anxious to test this time around...I think I'm scared of the emotions that come IF its a BFN.

QOTW: We have not bought anything baby related....I want to save all that excitement to when we actually have a baby to shop for.  It brings too much sadness at the current time.

I have my baseline appt. tomorrow for IUI 3.2. FX everything looks great after lupron and we can get the show on the road.

QOTW: I do not buy any baby things. Before I had my m/c I bought a few books but now can't even stomach to look where I have them hidden. It's hard to get excited with IF.

I'm CD 24 / 11 DPO on our first IUI cycle with Femara 5 mg. DHs post wash was over 40 mil so that made me real hopeful but now that I'm at the end of the 2ww my spirits are getting down because I'm so accustomed to a BFN that I can't even fathom a second line. I will test tomorrow. I did have some spotting at 10 dpo, which made me think AF will show in a day or two but the spotting stopped, so I'm more confused than ever.

If there is a next cycle, it will probably be Femara and TI or natural. We will be out of town during FW so we won't be able to do IUI.

QOTW: I have some onesies I bought early on to give to DH and haven't bought anything since. I just can't bring myself to do it and have it sitting around.

Well this is going to be a big if week for us. Monday is dh's urology appointment and an mri to check for pituitary adenoma. Also my period finally showed up so Wednesday is my hysteroscopy. Hopefully we find some answers this week!

I do buy cute baby clothes, blankets and other small things at rummages and stores when they are on sale. I just can't pass up good deals!

IUI #2 was a BFN....sad.  Tomorrow will be CD 3 BW and Sono.  This will be our last Clomid IUI before moving on to injectibles.  Really hoping this cycle works.  This whole process is emotionally draining.  

 As for baby stuff I have a few onesies I have picked up on clearance while shopping for other babies and books.

Update: IVF consult and consent signing is Tuesday so I have my lists of questions all put together. Plan was to cycle in June or July.

We had finally decided to pursue genetic testing on me and, if something came back positive, doing PGD. When I went in to get my blood drawn they brought up a new option- of doing whole exome sequencing (WES) to analyze my whole genetic code in hopes of finding an answer. The huge drawback is it would take 14-18 weeks to get results, instead of the 6-8 we had planned for. So we'd be pushing IVF back quite a bit which makes me nervous. I'm also scared they'd find something totally unexpected and not know what to do with it, or it wouldn't change my medical care at all. 

QOTW: The only baby things I have ever bought are the onesie I used to announce my first BFP and a dress I had been eyeing at Baby Gap forever. I tell myself the dress could be given as a gift though. I do have a secret Pinterest board full of baby gear

We are still on a break. I haven't gotten a positive OPK yet and I'm on CD 24 so I'm starting to think the last AF was a fluke or the Metformin may have brought AF back but not ovulation.   We're aiming to start treatment again in June, regardless.

I had my monitoring appointment on Friday and I had 2 follies. BUT...... I had a family emergency and had to go out of town so IUI didn't happen. But we did BD, so maybe we will just get lucky (not holding my breath tho). 

QOTW: I dont buy anything, but I pin a lot on my Pinterest for things I might want when it happens.

Today is CD2 for me.  This is our last break cycle!  Looks like we may hit my FW right before I leave for my parents house and I'm away from DH for 10 days.  Seriously doubting we will get a surprise BFP unmedicated though.  We have a follow up with RE on Thursday to discuss if we are moving on to injects for IUI next cycle.

QOTW:  I have a onsie for the past year to surprise DH with when I get a BFP and another I bought on a hopeful day, but no other items for baby.  It's too depressing for me.

Hi ladies. I'm a bit late for the checkin. I took my LAST provera pill this morning and am now just waiting for CD1. on CD3 I am headed to the RE for fasting bw and an ultrasound and then move from there with Clomid and IUI!

QOTW: Do you shop for future baby things? Or is that a no no for you? I defintaly look. I have a young neice and nephew so I tell DH that i"m looking for them. lol
