Have we discussed the no gardening rule yet? I had no idea that you are not supposed to garden while pregnant until I had an appointment yesterday. This is my second LO, and no one ever mentioned it before. Apparently cats like to use the garden as a litter box. However, when I had a garden years ago, I wore gloves and washed right after anyways, so I see no real harm in maintaining a garden. I have even been planning a new garden since we are moving next month, although I haven't convinced DH of it yet since he doesn't want me to dig up any of 'his beautiful grass.'
Re: Gardening?
Wear rubber coated gloves, avoid the poop (if any), wash everything before consuming it (like you should anyhow), wash your hands and you'll be fine!!! You don't have to not garden because of this.

I've heard this before but I think this recommendation assumes pregnant ladies are stupid and can't remember to wash their hands after gardening (or maybe that they're eating cat poop-filled dirt while gardening). No way I am going to not garden for 9
